New Book Calls Europe 'Province
of Islam'
By ALESSANDRA RIZZO,
Associated Press Writer
ROME - (AP) A new book by
controversial journalist Oriana Fallaci that hit bookstores here
Monday accuses Europe of having sold its soul to what she describes
as an Islamic invasion...
"Europe becomes more
and more a province of Islam, a colony of Islam. And Italy is
an outpost of that province, a stronghold of that colony,"
the book says.
"In each of our cities
lies a second city: a Muslim city, a city run by the Quran. A
stage in the Islamic expansionism."
Describing Europe as "Eurabia"
a mix of Europe and Arabia the Italian writer said
the continent "has sold itself and sells itself to the enemy
like a prostitute."
Written in the blunt style
that is Fallaci's trademark, the 278-page book claims the Catholic
Church keeps silent even when its symbols are offended by Muslims
and before such practices as polygamy and torture.
The current invasion, Fallaci
writes, is not carried out only by the "terrorists who blow
up themselves along with skyscrapers or buses" but also
by "the immigrants who settle in our home, and who, with
no respect for our laws, impose their ideas, their customs, their
God."
The book is dedicated to the
victims of the March 11 terror attacks in Madrid.

How gross. How dare you and others bring in
innocent victims to hide your hate filled racist writings.

Oh My God!!
How is it possible to take seriously Oriana
???? (Here in Italy we stopped to do it more or less twenty years
ago...) But... there are also interesting parallelism between
present Oriana's obsession for Islam and WC-PLANs. for RS's "racism"......
Both of them act exactly as children of the Lie's Spirit. Both
of them (Oriana and WCPLANS) are used to pervert quotes, references,
facts in order to follow "perinde ac cadaver" their
preconceived "ideas" and so on. ( I know that there
should be much more to say but "remixing shit" is not
a pleasant investigation..........).
Hi listmates we see here how Ahri's tools
use more or less the same weapons... What a lack of creativity!!!

A long time ago I read a book with some of
her interviews. She came across as very arrogant. There was,
however, an interesting observation on Mr. Alfred Hitchcock.
She said that her meeting with him made her realise that Mr.
Hitchcock was in fact a bad, bad man, who took pleasure in scaring
other people, and that his sadistic desire to terrify others
was what propelled him to make his movies - which are, in my
opinion, wonderful nevertheless.

Lightsearcher strikes me as somewhat kooky.
I haven't seen anything racist; his polemics are against Islam,
not against any ethnic groups per se. It's one thing being conservative
and hawkish and even fascist; it's quite another thing to feel
the need to churn out ceaseless propaganda about liberals and
leftists being sick and deranged and so on. Even when he quotes
Bob Dylan, he has a political agenda in mind. "Neighborhood
Bully" is a defense of Israel's militantism against its
neighbors.
So I have a few questions for Lightsearcher:
Was Jesus Christ a bleeding heart liberal when he bled for humanity
out of compassion? Was Christ a sick leftists when he talked
about turning the other cheek, doing good to those who persecute
us and blessing those who curse us and so on? Was Christ "soft
on evil" when he didn't recommend arresting and executing
the sons of bitches, but instead allowed himself to be
arrested and executed?

I can, with his permission, let this one represent the main theme
of those questions asked:

This is one of the main tendencies of the
Left-ward leaning mind: the "Reddi-Whipping" -- or
conflation -- of several distinct categories into one amorphous
blob of goo.
A little threefold social order is in order...
The Christian imperative of turning the other
cheek, of "doing good to one's enemy," applies primarily
to the moral/cultural realm, not the political realm.
Each of us should strive ever and always to
the standards of ethical self-less-ness on a one-to-one, I-and-Thou
basis that the Lord exemplified for us.
But the political must not be conflated with
the personal/moral/spiritual.
Yes, it is sometimes right render unto Caesar
what is Caesar's.
If a non-tyrannical culture -- that is regulated
by the rule of law -- is attacked by a freedom-killing tyrant,
you cannot -- and morally must not -- apply the Judeo-Christian
"law of niceness," because it means the complete and
utter end of YOU. -- You will no longer HAVE the opportunity
to do good when Stalin's or Saddam's or Adolph's bazookas have
blown your head off.
So when you have a loaded barrel pointed at
your life and your freedom and the culture from which it arises,
you have to use the alternate Golden Rule for keeping your body-heat
above room temperature:
"Doeth unto your (Sorat-possessed Qu'ran-thumping,
bomb-exploding) neighbor (to use the current case in point) before
he doeth unto you."
When "at risk" is the chance that
you will even be alive next month -- due to a Hamas holy-dude
that wishes to turn you into Hamas hummus (let's say you live
in Washington, D.C. or Manhattan for example), all abstruse debate
as to whether Steiner said this or said that, or was a racist
or not a racist (for God-sake give it a rest!), or "Survivor"
is better than some other TV show, must then for the duration
be put aside -- or at least be put into a more balanced context
until the threat to your life and limb is removed.
Cordially,
El Eswahn (LS/1)

Bradford comments;
You pathetic, betraying liar. Let me review
for you who you dump in the trash can and why I cannot give you
an inch on this issue. For starters you just dumped out the entire
incarnation and meaning of Buddha. You betrayed the greatness
of the Great Soul Ghandi. You took the Civil Rights efforts of
dog gnarling racism of the efforts of Martin Luther King and
trashed them. All these liberals, including St. Francis and Thoreau,
as well as thousands of other, friggin, soft headed liberals
have more courage in their toes than you have brains in your
liver.
Lightsearcher, stick to great poetry, because
you lack any sense of reality or common sense about Truth or
the current global crisis. You have simplified things to suit
your own little tweaky fundamentlistic shrunken soul. Colin Powell
is the Truth you deserve you little, sidewinding, corrupt twinkie.
I always love your Grail insights, but you so fall short of true
Christian Ethics that you should be embarrassed. Which is almost
like saying, here you are again, bare assed with the dumb asses
like Rush Limbaugh who kindles, literally fires you up and kindles
you. This nonsense you play with is so far off the charts, but
the disgusting thing is, that there are millions like you. Christiian
bigoted Cockroaches.
That doesn't mean I don't love you, for I
do. I always have because the man that I have met is fine, but
your bent opinions are off the charts in this case. I know, this
helps your inspiration fires you up even more and that is fine,
for you do have great insights in other areas, this one, just
isn't one of your best.

Tarjei:
I haven't seen anything racist;
I strongly disagree Tarjei. To post things
and agree wholeheartedly that we have a problem with Muslims
taking over our community is racist to me. I have lived with
this problem my whole life regarding the whites saying the blacks
were taking over their neighborhoods. I didn't know it was racist
as I tended to understood why people felt that way in the beginning
but then as I started to grow up I realized the ugliness that
was going on and the unwilliningness to welcome neighbors into
the fold.
If we did indeed welcome people versus watch
them from afar the world and our neighborhoods might be in different
shapes than they are today. It is even seen in the churches here
in California. The black people are worried about the Mexicans
taking over and all their children and so forth. It is in the
same vein as Lightsearchers post.
I do not know how this can be considered not
racist. I get the whole fascist or conservative and so forth
point of view but these are excuses for the racism in my eyes.
And it is way ugly. And I am way sick and tired of making excuses
for people when they speak or support views like this and try
to mask it as something else. It's ugly plain and simple.

So morality belongs to the cultural realm
only, not to the economic and political realms? It is legitimate
to practice unethical economics and brutal politics with police
torture and so on because only people in the cultural realm,
i.e. artists and teachers, need to behave themselves?
But the political must not be conflated

I see. If a guy misbehaves, let the cop beat
the son-of-a-bitch to death in the street and save the taxpayers
some money. Leave morality and ethics to preachers and movie
stars and school teachers.
Yes, it is sometimes right render unto

What? Jesus was talking about money. Give
money to Ceasar because the coins bear his picture. Are you conflating
moral behavior with money?
Try again.
