My friends it doesn't matter to me that four
or two or one person follows this line of reasoning. The line
of reasoning is emerging and even the world sees it. This is

What better recruiting
sergeant could Bin Laden have than the President of the United
States?
So President George Bush tears
up the Israeli-Palestinian peace plan and that's okay. Israeli
settlements for Jews and Jews only on the West Bank. That's okay.
Taking land from Palestinians who have owned that land for generations,
that's okay. UN Security Council Resolution 242 says that land
cannot be acquired by war. Forget it. That's okay.
Does President George Bush
actually work for al-Qa'ida? What does this mean? That George
Bush cares more about his re-election than he does about the
Middle East? Or that George Bush is more frightened of the Israeli
lobby than he is of his own electorate. Fear not, it is the latter.
His language, his narrative,
his discourse on history, has been such a lie these past three
weeks that I wonder why we bother to listen to his boring press
conferences. Ariel Sharon, the perpetrator of the Sabra and Shatila
massacre (1,700 Palestinian civilians dead) is a "man of
peace" - even though the official 1993 Israeli report on
the massacre said he was "personally responsible" for
it. Now, Mr Bush is praising Mr Sharon's plan to steal yet more
Palestinian land as a "historic and courageous act".
Heaven spare us all. Give
up the puny illegal Jewish settlements in Gaza and everything's
okay: the theft of land by colonial settlers, the denial of any
right of return to Israel by those Palestinians who lived there,
that's okay. Mr Bush, who claimed he changed the Middle East
by invading Iraq, says he is now changing the world by invading
Iraq! Okay! Is there no one to cry "Stop! Enough!"?
Two nights ago, this most
dangerous man, George Bush, talked about "freedom in Iraq".
Not "democracy" in Iraq. No, "democracy"
was no longer mentioned. "Democracy" was simply left
out of the equation. Now it was just "freedom" - freedom
from Saddam rather than freedom to have elections. And what is
this "freedom" supposed to involve? One group of American-appointed
Iraqis will cede power to another group of American-appointed
Iraqis. That will be the "historic handover" of Iraqi
"sovereignty". Yes, I can well see why George Bush
wants to witness a "handover" of sovereignty. "Our
boys" must be out of the firing line - let the Iraqis be
the sandbags.
Iraqi history is already being
written. In revenge for the brutal killing of four American mercenaries
- for that is what they were - US Marines carried out a massacre
of hundreds of women and children and guerillas in the Sunni
Muslim city of Fallujah. The US military says that the vast majority
of the dead were militants. Untrue, say the doctors. But the
hundreds of dead, many of whom were indeed civilians, were a
shameful reflection on the rabble of American soldiery who conducted
these undisciplined attacks on Fallujah. Many Baghdadi Sunnis
say that in the "New Iraq" - the Iraqi version, not
the Paul Bremer version - Fallujah should be given the status
of a new Iraqi capital.
Vast areas of the Palestinian
West Bank will now become Israel, courtesy of President Bush.
Land which belongs to people other than Israelis must now be
stolen by Israelis because it is "unrealistic" to accept
otherwise. Is Mr Bush a thief? Is he a criminal? Can he be charged
with abetting a criminal act? Can Iraq now claim to Kuwait that
it is "unrealistic" that the Ottoman borders can be
changed? Palestinian land once included all of what is now Israel.
It is not, apparently, "realistic" to change this,
even to two per cent?
Is Saddam Hussein to be re-bottled
and put back in charge of Iraq on the basis that his 1990 invasion
of Kuwait was "realistic"? Or that his invasion of
Iran - when we helped him try to destroy Ayatollah Khomeini's
revolution - was "realistic" because he initially attacked
only the Arabic-speaking (and thus "Iraqi") parts of
Iran?
Or, since President Bush now
seems to be a history buff, are the Germans to be given back
Danzig or the Sudetenland? Or Austria? Or should we perhaps recreate
the colonial possessions of the past 100 years? Is it not "realistic"
that the French should retake Algeria - or part of Algeria -
on the basis that the people all speak French, on the basis that
this was once part of the French nation? Or should the British
retake Cyprus? Or Aden? Or Egypt? Shouldn't the French be allowed
to take back Lebanon and Syria? Why shouldn't the British re-take
America and boot out those pesky "terrorists" who oppose
the rule of King George's democracy well over 200 years ago?
Because this is what George
Bush's lunacy and weakness can lead to. We all have lands that
"God" gave us. Didn't Queen Mary die with "Calais"
engraved on her heart? Doesn't Spain have a legitimate right
to the Netherlands? Or Sweden the right to Norway and Denmark?
Every colonial power, including Israel can put forward these
preposterous demands.

has done to preserve its name as a "middle-man" in

at greater risk doesn't worry him - anyway, he doesn't do funerals.
That it goes against natural justice doesn't worry him. That
his statements are against international law is of no consequence.
And still we have to cow-tow
to this man. If we are struck by al-Qa'ida it is our fault. And
if 90 per cent of the population of Spain point out that they
opposed the war, then they are pro-terrorists to complain that
200 of their civilians were killed by al- Qa'ida. First the Spanish
complain about the war, then they are made to suffer for it -
and then they are condemned as "appeasers" by the Bush
regime and its craven journalists when they complain that their
husbands and wives and sons did not deserve to die.
If this is to be their fate,
excuse me, but I would like to have a Spanish passport so that
I can share the Spanish people's "cowardice"! If Mr
Sharon is "historic" and "courageous", then

I hope I haven't truncated your remarks too
clumsily, I just keptwhat seemed most pertinent to what I'm going
to say, even though this isn't exactly a direct response to them.
I noticed the major media seemed to be getting all over Bush
suddenly; they had plenty of good reasons to, but they've had
good reasons before and just did their lapdog thing. And then
I heard Kerry is also Skull and Bones, and it seems the media
assault on Bush began soon after Howard Dean was safely put away.
So I'm thinking in terms of Carl Oglesby's Yankee/Cowboy formulation,
conflict between contending ruling elites,New York Times Yankee
vs. Fox News Cowboy, with Kerry as the anointed Yankee candidate.
And it looks to me that there may be nothing particularly Michaelic
about Clarke, he's just changing sides, is all. Maybe you could
work in something about Asuras, these neocons do seem to be berserk.
Anyway, whatever occult "brotherhoods" (nothing against
the concept, just dislike the word) are involved might not be
very united at all. Did you ever check out that Alpheus website

George W. Bush says he's been
praying for fewer casualties in Iraq.
How incredibly immense of
the "bring it on" president. There's no substitute
for resolute, concrete leadership, even if the praying comes

Americans deserve nothing

They claim they want to know what is going in the universe and
the Time they live in. It is a nice claim, but the passport to
the circus is called THINKING. Have we discussed the Fundamentalisitic

We really don't touch how these amazing retarded beliefs systems
are setting us up. Certainly others could add something couldn't
they? How about the lay out of all the indications on Sophia
that Deborah, Dottie, Danny and I gave? How about the AnthroSophic
Soul daughter of Sophia which requires Michael School Intelligence
to take root?
We have looked at how Christ prepared his
higher body out of the fruits of all the contributions of the
Hebrews. Islam we have waltzed around, Lighthirster still claiming
they just want to kill us all. The cycle of hate, and Give Peace
a Chance was recently summed up in a Steiner lecture, so exactly
it astonishes, but it is food that nobody wants to touch. OOOO
parasites, what does that mean, OOOOO?
Anthros want to know what is going on in the
world. It seems some boring nagging ninny has been pounding on
this issue, but I like a lot of issues. We can look at Michael
Intelligence, we can, as Deborah has wisely indicated, try to
understand how Michael Intelligence has failed this entire mass
of bleeding fundamentalists and we as Anthros continue to fail.
We can look how Anthro Science has failed to include the Christ
Event as a Living Reality of the Gods. The Gods themselves, Seraphim,
Cherubim and Thrones, meaning the FATHER and Sophia, the Holy
Ghost has been opened for discussion several times. Mind you,
heart by heart Anthros all work in the stone quarry of the souls
they love.
Sorry, but I do hope Anthros really want to
understand what is happening in their world. We are such a potent,
tiny, little block of thinkers. So potent and so needed, to steer
around the family dysfunctions that we encounter and to just
generally hold Thoughts out to the ostrich like souls, that this
Armageddon is part of the Bushies Illusion. It is the plan. Let
the Fighting tear the region into bits. The marines will guard
the Oil pipelines and America will still be standing when everyone
else falls.
Do the Luciferic retarding forces of America
(lodged squarely in the soul of George Bush) need to experience
and drag the rest of the world into this Luciferic hallucination?
Muslim's have generally avoided the full impact of Ahriman in
our civilization, is this just part of the PopCorn show? Judaism
is a marvel of retarded Ahrimanic forces and hard line Zionism.

"In the United States, several million
people have succumbed to an extraordinary delusion. In the 19th
century, two immigrant preachers cobbled together a series of
unrelated passages from the Bible to create what appears to be
a consistent narrative: Jesus will return to Earth when certain

in the occupied territories, demanding ever more US support for
Israel, and seeking to provoke a final battle with the Muslim
world/Axis of Evil/United Nations/ European Union/France or whoever
the legions of the antichrist turn out to be.
The believers are convinced that they will
soon be rewarded for their efforts. The antichrist is apparently
walking among us, in the guise of Kofi Annan, Javier Solana,
Yasser Arafat or, more plausibly, Silvio Berlusconi. The Wal-Mart
corporation is also a candidate (in my view a very good one),
because it wants to radio-tag its stock, thereby exposing humankind
to the Mark of the Beast.

believe it just a little; for them it is a matter of life eternal
and death.
And among them are some of the most powerful
men in America. John Ashcroft, the attorney general, is a true
believer, so are several prominent senators and the House majority
leader, Tom DeLay. Mr DeLay (who is also the co-author of the
marvellously named DeLay- Doolittle Amendment, postponing campaign
finance reforms) travelled to Israel last year to tell the Knesset
that "there is no middle ground, no moderate position worth
taking".
So here we have a major political constituency
- representing much of the current president's core vote - in
the most powerful nation on Earth, which is actively seeking
to provoke a new world war. Its members see the invasion of Iraq
as a warm-up act, as Revelation (9:14-15) maintains that four
angels "which are bound in the great river Euphrates"
will be released "to slay the third part of men". They
batter down the doors of the White House as soon as its support
for Israel wavers: when Bush asked Ariel Sharon to pull his tanks
out of Jenin in 2002, he received 100,000 angry emails from Christian
fundamentalists, and never mentioned the matter again.
The electoral calculation, crazy as it appears,
works like this. Governments stand or fall on domestic issues.
For 85% of the US electorate, the Middle East is a foreign issue,
and therefore of secondary interest when they enter the polling
booth. For 15% of the electorate, the Middle East is not just
a domestic matter, it's a personal one: if the president fails
to start a conflagration there, his core voters don't get to
sit at the right hand of God. Bush, in other words, stands to
lose fewer votes by encouraging Israeli aggression than he stands
to lose by restraining it. He would be mad to listen to these
people. He would also be mad not to."

You know what Bradford, I have to wonder if
anyone really has had or understands what it is to have a Sophia
experience and what that means towards experiencing the Christ
in the Etheric. It is only through Her you shall find Him. It
is through Her. And does anyone understand what that actually
has to do with Anthroposophy? She is the gift given by Michael
and physically brought into understanding by Dr. Steiner. He
may have done it in a round about way but this is his gift to
the world.
But then again it is said it is supposed to
be for the next epoch. Fooey on that. It is our duty to rise
and divine to the highest element if we truly are saying we are
students of Steiner. Well, actually we can decide to be stubborn
and selfish with it and make claims like, 'it will be in my time
and my life doesn't warrant it at this time' and so forth'. Yet,
there doesn't seem to be an adding to it even if it is something
one person can not make time for in their lives by themselves.
Maybe it is a judgement from me and I have felt this from the
first day just about I joined the Ark that people want to do
it on their own time. I guess somewhere in me I can not find
anything more important than manifesting the Christ in me and
realizing my God Self so I can radiate Love to all who are looking
or who have lost hope. And I guess that is a judgement. I try
not to think of it mostly.
I don't know. It's such a tough spot to be
in when one understands that everyone moves at their own pace
yet deny those who dare to jump off the mountain and try to fly.
I experience Sophia as walking the streets.
And there are no takers. And that makes me sad. I trust it but
boy when one sees the capacity of others one thinks 'wow, we
can really inspire the world to Love throught our Sophia/Christ
experience.
Again, I have to say, Mr. Prokofieff is right
on time. His thoughts are correlating with lots of unspoken thoughts
I was unable to convey in words until I read his work. It was
the same when I found Dr. Steiner: all that lived within me was
set free by recognition of anothers words that matched what I
was unable to say.
I know I am not an intellectual however I
am wanting to have the conversation Bradford and will try to
my best.

Bushwhackers have had their
day
April 24, 2004
THERE is a new sort of Australian
in public life who, accusing fellow Australians of being unAustralian,
expresses his or her patriotism by singing Hail To The Chief
rather than Waltzing Matilda. These whackers, hereinafter known
as Bushwhackers, congregate in right-wing politics, shock-jockery
and both tabloid and broadsheet punditry. They worship George
Bush Jr.
To them, Dubya is no mere
president but the Messiah. As such, he's the second coming, sharing
the name and intensifying the ideological proclivities of George
Bush Snr. So devout are the Bushwhackers, they see even his lies
as sacred texts. The Bushwhackers' president, their burning Bush,
is transcendent, and God help anyone who blasphemes with questioning
or criticism.
Such is the passion of Australia's
Bushwhackers that their patriotism is not directed at the Australian
flag they profess to love, but at the Stars and Stripes. To them,
the United States is truly the land of the brave, the home of
the free, and, yes, has a manifest destiny to dominate and democratise
the entire planet, according to the dogmas of their omniscient
and omnipresent prophet – and his hyperactive disciples,
Cheney, Rumsfeld and Wolfowitz.
Having wrapped themselves
in both flags, any previous and primary allegiance to our country
is sublimated in a rapturous acquiescence to theirs. No Catholic
looks to the Vatican, no Muslim to Mecca, more joyfully than
the bushwhackers look to Washington DC. For them, the Bush White
House is the lighthouse of civilisation, and sufficient radiance
to illuminate the entire planet comes from Bush's backside.
Take the Devines – Miranda
and Frank. As apologists for the current Pope, they usually endorse
his most conservative teachings. Yet when the Pope spoke out
against the war in Iraq, the Devines effectively dumped him.
If you wanted infallibility
on that subject, you turned to Bush. And there are scores of
Bushwhackers every bit as ardent, as rapturous, as born-again.
The likes of Tim Blair and
Imre Salusinszky, of Gerard Henderson and Andrew Bolt, ignore
Bush's long history of mediocrity and mendacity. They and their
ilk turn deaf ears to documented accounts of his sleazy business
affairs and seem indifferent to the fact that, as governor of
Texas ("all Stetson, no cattle"), he set an all-time
record by approving the executions of 150 people. Bush's business
connections with big oil, indeed with the bin Laden family, with
many of the worst sleazes in American corporate life (up to and
including the grand larcenists of Exxon), mean nothing to his
grovelling acolytes in Australia who fill their speeches, their
broadcasts or their newspaper columns with uncritical drivel
and bunkum. Week after week they try to out-twaddle and out-bunkum
each other, their styles recalling the obeisances of palace eunuchs
or the propagandists of Kim Il Sung. And they don't hesitate
to produce snarling slanders on anyone who sees Bush for what
he is. And for the danger he represents.
This is the most intriguing
and ominous aspect of their behaviour – their tendency to
brand dissidents as traitors. To criticise Bush's brand of hegemony
is anti-American. (Of course, if that's true, at least 50 per
cent of Americans are guilty of this heresy.) Moreover, Australian
critics of Bush are deemed, by extension, to be anti-Australian.
However, it's getting harder
and harder for the Bushwhackers. While it's easy to dismiss the
criticism of a Pilger or a Chomsky, to dismiss the complaints
of what's left of the Left as rabid rantings, how do they cope
when the criticisms, and the admissions, come from their side
of politics? Indeed, from angry members of the Bush Administration?
Consider former treasury secretary
Paul O'Neill's simultaneously hilarious and horrifying revelations
about Bush. His verdict on meetings between Bush and his senior
people? Like "a blind man in a roomful of the deaf".
Now former White House counterterrorism coordinator Richard Clarke
has revealed that the Bush Administration downplayed terrorism
as an issue – and that national security advisor Condoleezza
Rice, when briefed on the emergency and immensity of the threat,
seemed not to have heard of al-Qa'ida. All she and the boss wanted
to hear, from day one, was anything that might justify a war
on Iraq.
It took almost 40 years for
Robert McNamara to break the code of silence and tell the truth
about the Kennedy/Johnson Administration and the Vietnam War;
40 years before McNamara came out and admitted to having played
a major part in a catastrophic error. The Bush Administration,
on the other hand, started unravelling even before September
11. Soon, kiss-and-tell books were proving to be the kiss of
death. Now even Colin Powell is breaking ranks, complaining about
grossly inaccurate "intelligence" on the WMDs. Yet
in Australia, the Bushwhackers act as though none of this has
happened. As though none of this was known. They continue to
defend the indefensible, providing uncritical support for Howard
who, in turn, is uncritically supportive of Bush. And their attacks
on those of us who dissent are increasingly desperate.
Joe McCarthy's body lies mouldering
in the grave but his nasty little soul goes marching on. But
do not despair. This too shall pass. The Bushfires will be extinguished
and, after a while, we'll see a regrowth in American democracy.
